Pastor John Michael Stewart thought he was released from Gallup and attempted to move to Atlanta Ga, where he went to High School. He was born in Augusta Ga, and he wanted to go back and start a church there.
As many others who have tried to escape Gallup, Pastor Stewart was not given permission by God to leave. The Lord showed him that there has been much spiritual seed released into Gallup by his ministry and he was told that those seeds were going to produce much fruit. He was told a great harvest was going to be gathered here. Therefore he let go of his dream of going back to Georgia and made a commitment to stay in Gallup. He is sure to be richly blessed for his obedience to God!

Pastor John Michael Stewart has been in the Ministry for the last 15 years. He has been an Outreach Director for 2 yrs, an Assistant Pastor for 5 yrs, and a Senior Pastor for 8 years. He is an ordained minister and licensed with the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ (ALJC). He holds a Masters in Counseling and is a Bi Vocational Pastor. He works as a School Counselor at Stagecoach Elementary School.
His ministry is based on LOVING people into the Kingdom of God. He believed in letting people grow at their own pace and is an amazing Bible Study teacher.
His vision is to fill our church building to capacity, which is 200 people. Then take 30 to 50 people and start another ALJC Church in another part of the city. The first goal is to have 4 churches in the 4 corners of the City of Gallup. Once that goal is accomplished his thought is to branch out to other surrounding areas outside of Gallup.
Pastor Stewart is an anointed preacher and his wife, Amy Stewart, is the anointed Music Director. Together they make an unstoppable team.

NHPC is building on a foundation of the 4 levels of wealth. They are listed below in the order of importance.
1. God reveals himself, and you begin REALLY see God. Then you become intimate with God. (Most important and valuable Wealth)
2. After SEEING God, you become like him.
3. After becoming like him, we operate in and under his authority (pastoring, witnessing, ministering, Bible Study teaching, Sunday school teaching, preaching and Evangelizing.)
4. Lastly Monetary wealth, and other blessings. (Least important or valuable wealth). Most people feel number 4 is number 1, but they are deeply mistaken.
This is no time to wait. You are not promised tomorrow! Get to the house of the Lord and Let God reveal himself to you today.
